US$5.1 Million Investment in Preah Sihanouk Approved

Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has licensed a cardboard investment worth US$5.1 million in Preah Sihanouk province.

The council shared the update late last week, adding that the investment of KAMFOR Recycle Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd. will be located in Prey Nup district.

The investment, added the CDC’s notification, was expected to create 182 jobs for Cambodians.

As it now stands, Preah Sihanouk, the coastal province of Cambodia, is emerging as the Kingdom’s second largest economy.

Investments of various forms including trading, tourism, agriculture, environment, health and education are mushrooming in the province.
