Uses of Machinery in Agriculture Increased

Uses of machinery in agriculture have sharply increased by 96 percent, while handed-force uses in agriculture fell from 80 percent in the early 90s to 41 percent currently.

Positive progress in agriculture reflects the recent development, which has changed its movement of using handed-force into technology, according to H.E. Veng Sakhon, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, as quoted in local media.

In 2017, Cambodia is expected to receive over 10 tons of surplus paddy rice to respond to the market demand, he emphasised.
