Vietnam Appreciates Cambodia’s Rapid Development

AKP Phnom Penh, Socialist Republic of Vietnam has appreciated Cambodia's robust development in all sectors, especially in social and economic advancement.

The appreciation was highlighted by a visiting delegation of former Vietnamese voluntary soldiers led by Colonel Trinh VinhPha, Vice Chairman of Vietnam- Cambodia Friendship Association, during his recent meeting with H.E. SimKa, Acting President of Senate here in Phnom Penh.

H.E. SimKa warmly welcomed the visit of the Vietnamese delegation, stressing that it will further promote long-lasting friendship tie, solidarity and collaboration between the two neighbouring countries.

The acting senate president continued that the visit is coincided with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Win-Win policy rollout, and of the 40th anniversary of January 7 Victory Day.

Grounding on enhanced bilateral relationship, H.E. SimKa encouraged more of such exposure visit for the advantage of knowledge and experience sharing among the two counterparts.

He also thanked the Government and people of Vietnam for their indispensable contribution to the liberation of Cambodia from the Khmer Rouge regime, leading to sustained peace and development in the Kingdom.
