Vietnamese PM to Visit Cambodia Next Week

H.E. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, will pay an official visit to Cambodia on Nov. 8-9, at the invitation of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation made public this afternoon, during the visit, H.E. Pham Minh Chinh will be granted a Royal Audience by His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM SIHAMONI, King of Cambodia, at the Royal Palace.
The Vietnamese Premier will pay separate courtesy calls on Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Senate, and Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, it pointed out.
Samdech Techo Prime Minister Hun Sen and H.E. Pham Minh Chinh will hold a bilateral meeting at the Peace Palace, during which the strengthening and expanding of bilateral cooperation as well as some regional and international issues of common concern will be discussed, said the same source, adding that following the meeting, the two Prime Ministers will witness the signing of a number of bilateral cooperative documents.
While staying in Phnom Penh, it continued, H.E. Pham Minh Chinh will lay wreathes at the Independence Monument, the Royal Memorial Statue of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah NORODOM SIHANOUK “PREAH BOROM RATANAK KAUDH”, the Late King-Father of Cambodia, and the Cambodia-Viet Nam Friendship Monument.
The visit coincides with the commemoration of the 55th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relations between the two countries that was marked by “Cambodia-Viet Nam Friendship Year”, the press release concluded.
