Wat Phnom To Be Turned Into Attractive Cultural and Historical Heritage Destination

Wat Phnom, also known as Wat Phnom Daun Penh, will be changed into an eye-catching cultural and historical heritage site for Phnom Penh Capital to appeal to more visitors.

The announcement was made by Phnom Penh Municipal Governor H.E Pa Socheatevong during a recent gathering with officials of the Municipal Department of Culture and Fine Arts.

On the occasion, H.E. Governor also encouraged the proficient officials to create other cultural tourism packages for charming both national and international sightseers.

Noticeably, in a day over 1,000 tourists, among them above 400 are foreigners, visit Wat Phnom Daun Penh Attraction, the more-than-one-thousand-year-old historical heritage site.
