WB to Help Cambodia in Solid Waste Management

World Bank (WB) is helping Cambodia with solid waste management to promote the country's environment and nature.

The commitment was made by visiting Mr. Christophe Crepin, sectoral leader of the WB's social, environmental and rural development unit in the East Asia and Pacific region during the meeting with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng here in Phnom Penh recently.

Mr. Christophe Crepin spoke highly of good collaboration between WB and Cambodia, including the coordination with Cambodia's Ministry of Interior.

From his end, Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng thanked WB for its support, and asked the bank to technically work with Beach Management Commission for the solid waste management project.

The deputy prime minister underlined that the Royal Government of Cambodia considered WB as a good development partner.
