Weather Forecast: More Rainfall across Country Along with Gusts

Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) has forecasted that there would be more rain throughout the country along with thunder, lightning, and gusts, from July 21 to 27.

In its new weather forecast released this morning, the ministry explained the phenomena by the effects of strong southwestern monsoon, low pressure system, and tropical storm CEMPAKA.

During the period, it added, the temperature would vary between 22 and 31 degrees Celsius for the provinces in the central lowland areas, and from 22 to 30 degrees Celsius for the provinces next to the Dangrek mountain range and highland areas in the northeast.

For the coastal areas, the temperature would range between 21 and 28 degrees Celsius, pointed out MOWRAM, warning people of possible flash floods.

The ministry thus called on the public, particularly fishermen, to increase their vigilance to avoid any possible accidents.
