Win-Win Memorial to be Completed as Planned for Historic Launch

Cambodia's historic Win-Win Memorial to be finished as planned prior to its huge three-day launch at the close of 2018, according to local media report.

The progress was confirmed following the recent follow-up by Phnom Penh Governor H.E. Khuong Sreng and his technical team at the site.

Encompassing the total land surface of about eight square kilometres, an elegant symbolic monument of 54 metres high and 63 metres wide was among other support designs using authentic Khmer style.

In his latest press conference, Cambodia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh underlined that the Win-Win memorial symbolise peace-building sacrifice in Cambodia under the leadership of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.

As scheduled, Samdech Techo Prime Minister will preside over the inauguration of this memorial from Dec. 29 to 31 to be attended by at least 30,000 soldiers, national police, military police and the general public

The inauguration of this important construction located in Sangkat Bak Kheng, Khan Chroy Changva of Phnom Penh capital will feature exhibitions at some 600 stalls, performances, sports competitions, firework displays and beyond.
