Women Leaders to Attend Rare Leadership Course

Women leadership at various government ministries and institutions, including the Ministry of Information, will attend a Women Leaders and Board of Management 2019 training course hosted by the Royal School of Administration here in Phnom Penh.

Second of its kind, the course attracts 122 high-ranking officials who will be spitted in to two batches � the first to start from Aug. 12, 2019 while the second in coming September.

The purpose of the training course is to equip women leaders with more skills, knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to support them in decision making.

While presiding over the course orientation meeting yesterday afternoon, H.E. Youk Bunna, Secretary of State for Ministry of Civil Service, encouraged the use of the platform to share experience and knowledge, build networks, and inspire the team work spirit.

H.E. Youk Bunna, also the Director of Royal School of Administration also shared with participating women leaders the background and motto of the school: discipline, quality, virtue, and innovation.

The school, he added, has expanded partnership with ministries and institutions, as well as public and private universities and colleges overseas, like Singapore's Civil Service College, Japan's National Graduate Institute for Politic Students (GRIPS), Korea's National Human Resources Development Institute (NHI), and France's Ecole nationale d'administration (ENA).

The first Women Leaders and Board of Management was held in 2016 with participation of 83 women leaders.

Leadership from the Ministry of Information are positive that the opportunity given will further build their confidence in their work.
