The Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club (World-Bays Club) has voiced its support for the reopening of ASEAN tourism.
The support was made by its General Manager H.E. Bruno Bodard in a bilateral meeting with Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon, in Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province this morning, on the sidelines of the 40th ASEAN Tourism Forum 2022 (ATF 2022).
This is the most appropriate time for regional tourism reopening, especially to the coastal areas, stressed the general manager.
H.E. Thong Khon underlined the main purposes of ATF 2022, adding that this event is helpful to disseminate the regional tourism destination reopening, especially Cambodia’s preparation for its safe tourism destination to welcome international tourists.
The Royal Government of Cambodia is working hard to restore the tourism sector by setting forth tourism strategies and safe measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, he said.
From his end, H.E. Bruno Bodard pledged to help promote Cambodia as a safe tourism destination.
