According to the same source, it is a four-year project (2016-2020), with US$1.8 million implementation budget. Funded by World Vision in United States, this project will be implemented in six districts of Preah Vihear province including Rovieng, Tbeng Meanchey, Kulen, Sangkum Thmey, Chey Sen and Chhaeb district. 15,000 children stand to directly benefit from the project.

In Cambodia, an estimated 755,200 children between 5-17 years old are economically active - of these, 429,380 or 56.9 percent are considered child labourers and 236,498 or 31.3 percent are engaged in hazardous forms of labour (National Institute of Statistics, 2013).

The project will apply evidence-based good practice models particularly to promote change in attitudes in behaviors that perpetuate violence against children.
