The 4th Inter-governmental conference on Angkor-Sambor Prei Kuk has been agreed to be organised at the UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, France, on Nov. 15, 2023.

The update was shared by Mr. Long Kosal, Deputy Director General and Spokesperson of the APSARA National Authority (ANA).

According to the spokesperson, H.E. Hang Peou, Director General of the APSARA National Authority, led a Cambodian delegation to meet H.E. Lazare Eloundou Assomo, Director of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, to discuss the coordination for the 4th Inter-governmental Conference on Angkor-Sambor Prei Kuk, on the sidelines of the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee in Saudi Arabia.

It is expected that the conference will set up policies and prioritise goals to strengthen the efficiency and good governance of the conservation and sustainable development of Angkor and Sambor Prei Kuk resorts.
