Cambodia, Japan Appreciate Education Cooperation

Cambodia and Japan have appreciated intimate relations and good cooperation in all sectors, especially in education.

H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports shared the impression when joining H.E. TAKEI Shunsuke, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, to visit Cambodia-Japan Digitalised Manufacturing Centre (CJDM) at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) on Feb. 23.

CJDM is an achievement of education cooperation between the two countries and a symbol of the 70th anniversary of Cambodia-Japan diplomatic relations, added the minister.

CJDM will play a key role in training human resource on CNC Machines for Japan’s factories and enterprises in Cambodia as well as for export.

H.E. TAKEI Shunsuke thanked H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron and RUPP’s rector H.E. Dr. Chet Chealy for his warm hospitality.

CJDM is a high technical training centre in Cambodia, said H.E. TAKEI Shunsuke, adding that Japan will not only supply the machines, but also transfer all technology related to the machines to Cambodia.
