Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has extended his sincere congratulations to H.E. Narendra Modi on his re-election as the Prime Minister of the Republic of India.

‘On behalf of the Royal Government and people of Cambodia, I would like to convey my warmest congratulations to you on the third consecutive victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 18th Lok Sabha Elections and your re-election as Prime Minister of the Republic of India,’ he wrote in his congratulatory message dated June 5.

‘The people of India have given your government a renewed mandate, which is a testament to their continued trust and confidence in your wise leadership and the support for your vision of India’s future. With you at the helm again, I am certain that India will continue to achieve more impressive successes and play an increasingly important role and position in regional and international affairs,’ the Cambodian Premier added.

Cambodia and India have enjoyed a longstanding relationship, demonstrated by excellent cooperation in many areas over the years, he said, adding that H.E. Narendra Modi’sresolve for shared prosperity has catalysed even more extensive cooperation between the two countries.

‘I would like to reaffirm my commitment to working more closely with you to further promote the cordial partnership and broaden our bilateral cooperation for the mutual interests of our peoples and for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond,’ underlined Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet.
