COVID-19: 56 New Omicron Cases Detected

Cambodia detected 56 new Omicron cases, of which 47 were locally transmitted and 9 others were imported, announced the Ministry of Health in a press release this morning.
The national counts therefore rose to 121,355, including 902 Omicron cases (433 Omicron community cases), it added.
Meanwhile, there are 107 new recoveries, but zero COVID-19-related death for 27 days in a row; the total cured and death cases stood at 117,535 and 3,015, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
