DPM Hun Many Attends Heads of Civil Service Meeting in Brunei

H.E. Hun Many, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service, attended the Heads of Civil Service Meeting for the 22nd ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM) in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam this morning.

Secretary-General of ASEAN H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Heads of Civil Service of the ten ASEAN member countries and Timor-Leste as observer country took part in the meeting, said the Cambodian Ministry of Civil Service, adding that their counterparts from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea will join them in the 7th ASEAN Plus Three Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM+3) this afternoon.

On the occasion, H.E. Hun Many exchanged views on the draft statement on strengthening governments’ strategies on mental health and well-being to attain work-life balance in the public sector.

According to the ASEAN Secretariat, besides discussing the above draft statement, the Meeting monitored the progress of the ACCSM Work Plan 2021-2025, and deliberated on priorities for the
post-2025 cooperation.

The Meeting congratulated Brunei Darussalam for its Chairmanship of ACCSM from 2022-2024 and welcomed Cambodia for assuming the ACCSM Chairmanship for the period of 2024-2026, the source added.

A welcome video to Cambodia as the Chair of ACCSM, ACCSM+3 and other related meetings for 2024-2026 was screened in the morning session.
