Global Peace Mission Urges Continuous Focus on Palestinian Issue

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia has called for sustained international attention to the Palestinian issue, emphasizing that it should not be viewed as a seasonal concern. GPM’s CEO, Ahmad Fahmi Mohd Samsudin, stressed the importance of consistent global awareness and education regarding the plight of Palestine.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, speaking at the Malam Mahabbah and Munajat Bersama Keluarga Palestine di Malaysia (Night of Love and Prayer with Palestinian Families in Malaysia) event at the International Islamic University Malaysia (UIA), actions showing solidarity with Palestine should not be limited to times of crisis in Gaza. He highlighted the need for ongoing efforts in educating and spreading awareness about Palestine to maintain its status as a universal issue.

The event, attended by Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS) chairman Tunku Zain Al-’Abidin Tuanku Muhriz and Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia Walid Abu Ali, also saw GPM providing contributions to 300 Palestinian families present at the function. This gesture underlines GPM’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian community in Malaysia and advocating for their cause on the global stage.
