King Sultan Abdullah Presents Ru’RASA Homes to Recipients in Rompin

Rompin – Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah presented house keys to seven recipients of Rumah Rakyat Al-Sultan Abdullah (Ru’RASA) homes in Rompin. His Majesty emphasized the commitment to expanding housing options in Pahang, with 124 out of 178 Ru’RASA homes ready for occupancy.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Al-Sultan Abdullah stressed the importance of providing diverse housing opportunities, including houses with garden space, through various state government initiatives. The ceremony, held in Kampung Janglau, was attended by notable dignitaries including the Pahang Menteri Besar and the UAE Ambassador.

The Ru’RASA housing project in Rompin includes single-storey and stilted houses valued between RM75,000 and RM100,000. Al-Sultan Abdullah expressed gratitude to the UAE President for his support in providing homes for the underprivileged and advised recipients to cherish and maintain these homes.

Recipients expressed their heartfelt thanks, with a lorry driver and a single mother among those expressing relief and gratitude for the opportunity to own a home.
