Kuala Lumpur International Beauty Week Returns with Diverse Lineup and Interactive Experiences

Kuala Lumpur – The Kuala Lumpur International Beauty Week (KLIBW) is poised to make a grand return for its second year, with LazBeauty by Lazada partnering as the official partner. The event, slated for November 18-19 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC), promises a comprehensive and interactive experience for beauty enthusiasts.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Lazada, in a statement today, announced that KLIBW 2023 will feature over 150 local and international beauty brands. Established in 2019, KLIBW aims to be more than a conventional convention; it seeks to be a gateway to a vibrant community of beauty experts and aficionados, fostering discovery and sharing of the latest trends and innovations in the beauty industry.

Lazada is also enhancing the event with its O2O (offline-to-online) engagement strategy. As Southeast Asia’s pioneering eCommerce platform and a preferred destination for beauty shoppers, Lazada will showcase ‘LazBeauty’, its dedicated online channel for beauty products. This channel includes trending cosmetics and skincare products and innovative features on the Lazada app like My Beauty Profile, Virtual Try-On, and Skin Test Technology – an AI and augmented reality-powered skin analyzer.

Participants at KLIBW who are members of the LazBeauty Club through the Lazada app, and who make purchases via the LazBeauty Channel, will enjoy benefits like fast lane access, exclusive gifts, and sample pouches from various beauty brands.

The event will include ‘The Beauty Stage’ for engaging activities like Q&A sessions with Marion Caunter on achieving healthy hair, and a meet-and-greet with Amber Chia. Artisan Professionel, Sarra Brows, ALLIE, and Kate Tokyo will offer makeup tutorials, while RC Clinic will share insights on skincare.

‘The Beauty Lounge’ offers a relaxed space for refreshments, product launches, and interactions with celebrities and influencers. Four Instagram-worthy photo booths will be available for capturing memorable moments.

The first 400 visitors each day will receive a Beauty Passport, allowing them to collect samples and try products at over 40 Beauty Booths. Collecting six stamps on the Passport enters attendees into a claw machine game for prizes.

KLIBW will also host a makeup contest for emerging artists, with cash prizes, trophies, and beauty hampers for the top three winners.

Tickets to KLIBW are free, but pre-registration is encouraged via Eventbrite to avoid queues. Walk-ins are also welcome, with on-site registration counters. LazBeauty Club members get exclusive fast-track access by showing their membership on the Lazada app.
