The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will mark the World Teacher’s Day 2021 to fall on Oct. 5, according to the ministry’s press release issued recently.
Themed “Teachers Maintain Key Roles in Education at all Circumstances”, the event aims to voice gratitude to both in-service and retired teachers at all levels throughout the country for their effort in promoting learning.
H.E. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, will provide keynotes on Digital Revolution in Education and Implementation of New Teaching Methods at the event to be held via Zoom.
The management and staff of the ministry and the 25 municipal and provincial education departments, as well as representatives from Khmer Academic Staff Association, Cambodian Higher Education Association and relevant development partners are expected to join the event.
Also, there will be a ceremony of deliver “Samdech Techo Sen” awards for outstanding principals, outstanding teachers and clean schools 2019-2020, and a discussion on Potential Reality and Excellence of Digital Education in Cambodia.
