Nearly 300 Cyclists Sign up for National Cycling Championship

To date, at least 298 cyclists from 28 clubs throughout Cambodia have registered for the National Cycling Championship 2023 to be held in Kampong Chhnang from Jan. 5 to 8, 2024.

The figure showed an increase of 10 percent compared to the previous years, according to Mr. Nou Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodian Cycling Federation (CCF), in a recent press conference here in Phnom Penh.

The event will include two disciplines: road biking and mountain biking.

The road biking entails men’s nursery road biking, men’s junior road biking, and men’s road biking.

The mountain biking includes men’s nursery mountain biking, junior men’s mountain biking, women’s mountain biking, and men’s mountain biking.

Kampong Chhnang is a potential province with mountains and an attractive landscape suitable for the cycling tournament, said Mr. Nou Chamroeun.

The tournament will be supported by Herbalife, which has been a sponsor of the event for four consecutive years.
