Phnom Penh capital of Cambodia and Metz city of France will form an alliance between the two cities in the near future.
The discussion on the formation of sister city alliance took place here this morning between Phnom Penh Municipal Governor H.E. Khuong Sreng and visiting H.E. François GROSDIDIER, Mayor of Metz, a city in France’s northeastern Grand Est region.
The two governors also exchanged experience on city development, ways to boost good city-to-city relations and promote the areas of culture, tourism, and other key sectors between the two cities.
Phnom Penh capital has so far tied alliance with Paris and other cities of China, Japan, the U.S., Thailand, Vietnam and so on.
