Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen said that a series of foreign surveys show that the Royal Government of Cambodia is on the right track.

The surveys were conducted in January 2022, October 2022, January 2023, April 2023, and June 2023 whose findings have just been released a few days ago, said the Prime Minister while presiding over a gathering with almost 7,000 factory workers and employees in Pursat province this morning.

The surveys also found the Royal Government’s remaining weaknesses, which are for example related to drug issue and some other social problems, he added.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen emphasised that the surveys were not conducted by Cambodians, but by foreigners.

Through the surveys, he underlined, it was shown that the majority of voters for the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) are women.

Cambodia is going to hold the 7th National Election on July 23, 2023 with the participation of 18 political parties. The three-week-long election campaign is going to kick off tomorrow across the country.
