H.E. Antony J. Blinken, U.S. Secretary of State, has sent his best wishes to the Cambodian people on the occasion of the Khmer Traditional New Year to fall from April 13 to 16.
‘On behalf of the United States of America, I wish all Cambodians in the Kingdom of Cambodia and around the world a Khmer New Year full of joy, prosperity, and good fortune,’ he said in a statement dated April. 11.
‘Khmer New Year is a special time to celebrate the vibrance of Cambodian culture. As we move ahead, the United States will continue to work with the Cambodian people to build a more prosperous, democratic, and independent country. We are committed to strengthening the people-to-people ties that underpin the longstanding partnership between the United States and the Kingdom of Cambodia,’ he continued.
