Virtual branded Love island villa: Driving user engagement, in-game purchasing and new experiences in Hotel Hideaway

Azerion partners with ITV  Studios‘ Love Island to create a social experience in Hotel Hideaway, opening up opportunities for brands and players

Amsterdam, NL – 29 August 2022 – Azerion, the digital entertainment and media platform, has announced the results of its first virtual branded hangout room in Hotel Hideaway for Love Island and ITV Studios, creating higher user engagement than any of the other rooms since its launch eleven weeks ago. Following the partnership’s immediate success, Azerion and ITV Studios continue to bring new experiences to players and are launching the first of a monthly World of Love Island quiz series.

In the first 15 hours of launching the branded room,135,000 items were sold. This increased to 545,000 after 30 days, with blue and pink caps the most popular items. This exceeded previous campaigns run on Hotel Hideaway, which saw an average of 75,000 items sold in the first 15 hours and 360,000 after the first 30 days. The branded room attracted 3 million visits in 30 days with 46,000 daily visitors on average, spending an average of 52 mins in total over the period.

With the Love Island season drawing to a close, as the reunion in the UK happened on 7 August and in the US season ends on 28 August, Azerion in partnership with ITV Studios will be rolling out new features.

Relive the Love Island magic with the World of Love Island Quiz in Hotel Hideaway!

Azerion and ITV Studios are delighted to announce the first of a monthly World of Love Island quiz series being hosted in Hotel Hideaway on 1 Septemberas part of their global digital content partnership. Players can now join other beach-body ready avatars in the Love Island Villa as they are shown iconic footage from Love Island shows from around the world to test their knowledge.

With the new immersive World of Love Island quiz experience, players must answer questions such as: What happens next? What colour swim shorts was he wearing? Which country is this Islander from? The game works by stepping on platforms A, B and C until the platform with the right answer lights up. With three rounds, each containing five questions, being broadcasted four times a day (to cover all time zones), players will never miss out on proving who’s the biggest Love Island expert around; with all participants receiving an exclusive pin to show off. A special release of new clothing and furni, plus the extension of the existing Love Island room into the World of Love Island area will guarantee to keep the summer vibes flowing.

Cambodia, U.S. to Further Deepen Bilateral Cooperation

The Kingdom of Cambodia and the United States of America have been committed to further boost their bilateral relations and cooperation for the mutual interest.

The commitment was made this morning while Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a visiting delegation of the U.S. Congress led by H.E. Ms. Elizabeth Van Duyne, Representative for Texas State from the Republican Party.

According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, in the courtesy meeting held at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh, H.E. Ms. Elizabeth Van Duyne spoke highly of Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s efforts in bringing about peace, stability and development for the Cambodian people.

She told the Prime Minister of the visit of her delegation to Cambodia this time, the purpose of which is to tighten the relations between the two countries through existing potential and cooperation on trade and investment.

For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen recalled the history of the Cambodia-U.S. relations, and agreed with H.E. Ms. Elizabeth Van Duyne that both nations need to look forward and seize the current opportunities, especially in the fields of trade, investment and education, as a basis to strengthen their relationship.

Kampot Province Expected to be Mine-Free by 2023

Kampot is another province committed to achieve the mine-free status next year through Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s Project for Mine Action (STP-MA) themed “Providing Safe Ground, Creating smiles”.

H.E. Ly Thuch, Senior Minister and First Vice President of the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) shared the optimism at a dissemination meeting on Cambodia mine action sector and STP-MA, held in Kampot provincial city this morning.

According to H.E. Senior Minister, 10,997 square kilometres of contaminated land in Kampot province will be cleared in 11 months, from August 2022 to June 2023.

Kampot is among the five provinces whose contaminated land of 31 square kilometres in total will be cleared by CMAC deminers, he pointed out.

Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen has recently launched a national movement dubbed STP-MA to mobilise resources from donors across Cambodia and beyond to achieve mine-free Cambodia in 2025.

Cambodia, India Speak Highly of Cultural Cooperation

Cambodia and India have highly valued their cultural cooperation focusing mainly on ancient temple conservation, Sanskrit and Khmer language studies, young leaders’ exchange, and textiles museum enhancement.

The information was shared by the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts following the meeting here this morning between its Minister H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona and visiting H.E. Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, President of Indian Council for Culture Relations (ICCR).

Both sides recalled the good cooperation between the two countries in the fields of culture, politics and diplomacy, and vowed to further foster it.

H.E. Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe has been on an official visit to Cambodia to strengthen closer ties and more productive cooperation in education and cultural diplomacy.

Before arriving Phnom Penh, H.E. Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe visited the famous Angkor Wat Temple and the Mekong-Ganga Cooperation Asian Traditional Textiles Museum in Siem Reap province.

Cambodia and India mark this year the 70th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.

Siem Reap Referral Hospital to Become a Modern Hospital by 2023

Siem Reap Provincial Referral Hospital will become a modern hospital in the region once the construction of a Japan-funded building was completed.

This morning, H.E. Prof. Mam Bunheng, Minister of Health, led a delegation to inspect the construction process of the new building.

The construction, which began in December 2021, has so far achieved at 17.38 percent, and as planned it will be completed in 2023, said the minister.

H.E. Prof. Mam Bunheng added that the expansion of the referral hospital is in line with the people’s needs as well as the goal of the Royal Government to improve health service provision through the modernisation of health services.

The Government of Japan, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has provided more than US$19 million for the construction of a 25-metre-long and 69-metre-wide, four-storey building of Siem Reap Provincial Referral Hospital.

Once constructed, the new building will be used for surgery, emergency services, and other related services.
