The Ministry of Tourism has cooperated with relevant stakeholders, Chip Mong Group, and private sector to organise ‘Gumball 3000 Rally in Cambodia’ from Sept. 15-17, 2024.

According to the ministry’s recent announcement, around 150 supercars driven by 250 popular celebrities, well accomplished personalities, and famous artists from around the world will take part in the upcoming event. They will arrive in Cambodia on Sept. 15 via Bavet International Borders Check Point and depart on Sept. 17 through Poipet International Border Check Point.

This event also marks the 25th anniversary of the excursion of Gumball cars and it will further promote ‘Visit Siem Reap 2024’, ‘Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year 2024,’ and the ‘1st Cambodia-India Tourism 2024’ campaigns, aligning with the Pentagonal Strategy Phase I and the strategic initiative ‘BUILD + 3Ds’ of the Ministry of Tourism, the source added.

The Gumball 3000 Rally event will also include a public concert
in Phnom Penh on Sept. 15, featuring famous Cambodian artists and alongside Gumball 3000’s global artists and celebrities, a charity fundraising event which will donate to Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, and breaking Guinness World Records as the most supercars parking at the world heritage site on Sept. 17, stressed the announcement, pointing out that the event will be live by Bayon TV and broadcast on many national and international media around the world.

The Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia thus invited supporters in Cambodia and in other countries who wish to participate in the Gumball 3000 Rally event in Cambodia to contribute to the Fundraising event and join efforts in creating a historical for Cambodia to promote Cambodia as a leading tourist destination.
