Cambodia and Australia have lauded advanced bilateral cooperation particularly in politics, trade and investment, and gender mainstreaming.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection H.E. Mrs. Men Sam An shared the note in a recent meeting with H.E. Pablo Kang, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia at the ministry office.
According to H.E. Pablo Kang, Cambodia and Australia are working closely together on gender equality promotion as well as woman empowerment in various sectors, especially in security and peacebuilding.
The Deputy Prime Minister thanked Australia as well as the Ambassador, particularly for supporting the gender work and Cambodia’s contribution to UN peacekeeping missions, and for being a comprehensive partner of the country.
