COVID-19: 102 New Omicron Cases Detected

Cambodia detected 102 new COVID-19 cases, all of Omicron variant, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning.
Of the new infections, 87 were locally transmitted and 15 were imported, the same source added.
The COVID-19 tally in the Kingdom thus rose to 121,983, including 1,530 Omicron cases (978 Omicron community cases), it underlined.
Besides, 74 new recoveries were registered, while zero new death was reported for 35 days in a row; therefore the total cured and death cases stood at 118,286 and 3,015, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
