COVID-19: 306 New Cases; Tally 132,708

The number of new cases of COVID-19 dropped to only 306, of which 264 were locally transmitted and 42 were imported, pointed out the Ministry of Health in a press release issued this morning.
The Kingdom’s COVID-19 tally now increased to 132,708, including 12,255 Omicron cases (11,204 Omicron community cases), it said.
In addition, it continued, the COVID-19 pandemic claimed another life, but up to 482 more patients have recovered; bringing the death toll and cured cases to 3,042 and 126,921, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
