COVID-19: A New Death Reported with 368 New Confirmed Cases

Another COVID-19-related death was reported this morning; bringing the death toll in Cambodia to 3,033.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Health, the new death case has not been vaccinated against the virus.
At the same time, the ministry announced the detection of 368 new cases of COVID-19, all of Omicron variant, of which 343 were locally transmitted and 25 were imported.
The Kingdom’s COVID-19 tally rose to 131,372, including 10,919 Omicron cases (9,970 Omicron community cases).
But 450 more patients have recovered; the total cured cases stood at 125,029.
The first COVID-19 case was found in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
