KUALA LUMPUR, In conjunction with the 2024 Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Exhibition (MAHA), the National Farmers’ Organisation (NAFAS) will unveil a series of innovations in fertilisers, modern agriculture and frozen food products under the Peladang brand.
NAFAS general manager Muhammad Faris Arriffin said the organisation’s participation in the 100th edition of MAHA would feature various activities, including exhibitions, product sales and cutting-edge innovations such as Peladang-branded food and fertilisers, agricultural inputs and machinery.
‘NAFAS’s involvement in MAHA 2024 underscores our commitment to advancing the agricultural sector in line with the goal of ensuring continuous food security.
‘This exhibition also provides NAFAS with the opportunity to collaborate with various quarters to introduce more effective and sustainable agricultural solutions,’ he said in a statement today.
Themed ‘Harvesting Tomorrow Where Dreams Blossom,’ MAHA 2024 will be held at the Malaysia Agro
Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) from tomorrow until Sept 22.
It is expected to attract over three million visitors during its 12-day run.
In this regard, Muhammad Faris invited the public to explore the NAFAS booths located at Agro Seed in Hall A, MAHA Go Global (Hall C), Kingdom of Agrofood (Laman Tiba 1), Laman Padi, Laman Mekanisasi and NAFAS Cube.
He also noted that NAFAS would operate a National Farmers’ Fund service counter in the Peladang Outlet segment in Hall A.
‘Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in fishing competitions at NAFAS Cube, enjoy ‘happy hour’ sales, taste Peladang-branded food products and engage in interactive games and relaxation activities at the NAFAS engagement segment.
