Up to now, nearly 200 athletes have signed up for the 1st Samdech Thipadei Award for “Khmer Traditional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championships’.

The update was shared by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Commission for Organising the Samdech Thipadei Award “Khmer Traditional MMA Championships” in a recent interview at the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), Phnom Penh.

He added that the competition will take place at the National Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh, from Oct. 18 to 20.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun called on more athletes to sign up for the competition, as the registration deadline will be Sept. 30.

The NOCC is ready for the 1st Samdech Thipadei Award for “Khmer Traditional MMA Championships,” he continued.

According to H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet will preside over the opening and closing ceremonies of the forthcoming event.
