PM Commends Civil Servants and Armed Forces in Banteay Meanchey for Their Hard Work

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen praised the Banteay Meanchey provincial civil servants and armed forces for their joint efforts to prevent the COVID-19 spread and help solve the people’s problems during the recent floods, particularly to maintain security and social order.

The appreciation was made this afternoon when Samdech Techo Hun Sen held a get-together with provincial, city, district, commune, Sangkat councillors, civil servants, and the armed forces of Banteay Meanchey province.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also extended his congratulations to all commune/Sangkat councillors in Banteay Meanchey for winning the people’s support through the recent local election.

Anyway, Samdech Techo Hun Sen reminded them to continue paying attention to their duties, especially to the provision of services to the people with a high sense of responsibility.

According to Banteay Meanchey Provincial Governor H.E. Oum Reatrey, there are currently more than 8,000 civil servants, of them nearly 4,000 are women, and over than 5,000 armed forces stationed in the province.

Besides, the province has 25 provincial councillors, 169 city/district councilors, and 533 commune/Sangkat councillors.
