Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia, expressed her congratulations to Honourable Mr. Om Birla on his re-election as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha of India.
‘On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your re-election as the Speaker of the 18th Lok Sabha of the Republic of India on June 26, 2024,’ she wrote in her congratulatory message dated June 27.
Cambodia and India have long shared historical, commercial and cultural ties, and the exchange of high-level visits of the leaders of the two countries have provided more impetus to these existing relations, she underlined, expressing her confidence that the time-honored bonds of friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two legislatures and countries will continue to deepen in the years ahead for the mutual benefits of the two peoples.
