Cambodia and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have discussed the development and dissemination of sustainable production system based on invasive pest management of cassava in the country.
The discussion took place recently at the ministry between the Minister of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Veng Sakhon and Ms. Kamei Haruko, Chief Representative of JICA Cambodia Office.
H.E. Veng Sakhon deeply appreciated the initiative he believed to contribute significantly to promoting Cassava production in Cambodia.
The minister encouraged JICA to discuss the technical details of the cooperation with concerned team at the ministry and other related institutions.
