USAID-Harvest II Strengthens Cambodia’s Agriculture Market System

Cambodian natural agricultural villages supported by USAID through Feed the Future Cambodia Harvest II, which strengthens agriculture market system, brought their agricultural-processed products to display in the Business to Business Reception.
The event was held here on April 7 with the participation of U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. W. Patrick Murphy, USAID Mission Director H.E Nancy J. Eslick, and stakeholders.
Each business representative has increased business networking through their product displays.
The USAID-funded Feed the Future Cambodia Harvest II project (Harvest II) is a five-year project working to accelerate growth of the horticulture sector in the provinces of Pursat, Battambang, Siem Reap, and Kampong Thom.
Beginning in 2017, the Harvest II works to help Cambodia accelerate horticulture sector growth and strengthen the horticulture market system.
During the business to business reception, two agreements for the purchase and distribution of agricultural products were signed.
