Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway Project Study Accelerated

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has set a three-month period for company to complete a comprehensive, accurate and standardised report of Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway Project study.
The timeframe was set in a meeting here on April 7 between a delegation of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport led by its Secretary of State H.E. So Victor and China Railway International Group Co., Ltd. Representatives of the Royal Group and the ministry’s technical team also attended the meeting.
The Chinese company was urged to complete its study timely in order to start the construction of Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway soon.
The first-ever expressway in Cambodia is Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, currently under construction. It is set for temporary use in the near future.
