KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded mostly higher this morning.

At 9.36 am, spot month for July 2024 rose by 2.0 points to 1,627.5, August 2024 climbed by 1.5 points to 1,630.0, and September 2024 added 0.5 of-a-point to 1,612.5 but December 2024 was flat at 1,618.5.

Turnover amounted to 919 lots, with open interest reaching 47,051 contracts.

Meanwhile, the FBM KLCI appreciated by 3.43 points to 1,622.49 after 36 minutes of trading.
