Carrefour City+ was inaugurated by H.E Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications along with Alain Bejjani, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Holding and Hani Weiss, Chief Executive Officer at Majid Al Futtaim Retail.

Store access and shopping payment is enabled via the current MAF Carrefour App. Once inside Carrefour City+, every item picked up by customers will then be automatically added to a digital shopping basket and the purchase will be completed by simply walking out. Not only is the shopping journey faster, but also completely contactless, with no store staff interaction necessary.

After a challenging eighteen months for the tourism and hospitality industry, Diageo’s Johnnie Walker Princes Street, the eight-storey new visitor experience for the world’s best-selling Scotch whisky, has today been launched in the heart of Scotland’s capital city.

Four and a half years in the making, Johnnie Walker Princes Street is the centrepiece of Diageo’s £185million pound investment in tourism in Scotland – the largest single investment programme of its kind ever seen. The programme aims to rebuild Scotch whisky tourism for the future. Over 70% Cambodians Vaccinated against COVID-19

Some 70.57 percent of Cambodia’s total population of 16 million have so far been inoculated against the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the figures shared by National Ad-hoc Commission for COVID-19 Vaccination.
As of Sept. 6, for the target of 10 million adults, 9,608,679 people have obtained their first jab, or 96.09 percent, among them 8,439,230 have been fully vaccinated.
For the children-youth aged 12 to under 18 years old, 1,682,786 or 85.55 percent of the nearly two-million target have received their first dose, while 561,893 already got the second dose.
Besides, 680,353 booster doses have been administered to frontline officials, senior officials, civil servants, local officials, and people aged 60 years and older as well as officials of UN agencies, foreign embassies and national and international organisations in Cambodia.
Cambodia has currently some 29.6 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines from purchases and donations: 7.8 million doses of Sinopharm, 19 million doses of Sinovac, 1,739,000 doses of AstraZeneca, and 1,064,600 doses of Johnson & Johnson.
Until Sept. 6 morning, there were 95,828 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Cambodia, of which 91,131 have recovered and 1,970 have lost their lives.
