Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit to Offer Key Platform for Achievements of ASEAN’s Economic Integration

The two-day Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit being kicked off today would offer a platform to reflect the achievements of ASEAN’s Economic Integration and to further explore the immense potential of regional connectivity.

The remark was made by H.E. Ms. CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, while she was attending a Networking Cocktail for the Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit with the theme of ‘Unleashing ASEAN’s Potential: Technology, Sustainability, and Inclusive Growth,’ with many participants from the Ministry of Commerce, representatives from line ministries, private sector and many stakeholders, at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra on April 1, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce.

H.E. Mrs. CHAM Nimul acknowledged the important role of the Summit in being able to integrate, interact, and connect with many stakeholders in a cordial environment, as well as to increase opportunities to build relationships and exchange views with each other.

‘We presently stood at the threshold of uncovering many bus
iness opportunities that can be leveraged to not only advance but also ensure our hand-in-hand economic development with sustainable and inclusive growth,’ she continued.

The minister also considered the Summit an opportunity to be aware of Cambodia’s commitments and efforts to unleash her potential and the evolvement of her role as a strategic gateway to broader ASEAN market and beyond.

H.E. Mrs. CHAM Nimul took the chance to inspire all crucial partners and stakeholders to engage in in-depth discussion on pillars that were keys to propel ASEAN towards a future that narrow digital gap through strengthening connectivity, sustainability and development enhancement, along with inclusive growth.
