Beijing – Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, announced China’s commitment to assist in rescuing Malaysians who fell victim to job scams in Myanmar. The aid will be facilitated through China.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fadillah Yusof shared this development after bilateral meetings in Beijing with Yu Jianhua, Minister of the General Administration of Customs of China, and Vice-Premier Liu Guozhong. The Deputy Prime Minister stated that both countries would work out details on how to execute the rescue process.

Fadillah Yusof’s visit to China aims to discuss various bilateral issues, including the plight of Malaysian job scam victims in Myanmar. He emphasized the urgency of repatriating these individuals, who lack passports and are unable to leave the country.
