The number of new cases of COVID-19 in Cambodia increased to 27; all of locally transmitted Omicron variant; bringing the tally to 136,117, said the Ministry of Health in a press release issued this morning.
Of the total confirmed cases, 15,664 are Omicron cases, including 14,321 Omicron community cases.
Meanwhile, the ministry announced the recovery of 24 more patients, but a new death; the total cured cases and death toll stood at 132,825 and 3,056, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
