COVID-19: Tally 116,140 with 265 New Infections

AKP Phnom Penh, The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Cambodia jumped to 116,140 with the detection of 265 new cases, the Ministry of Health announced this morning.
They are PCR test results, underlined the same source, adding that 18 of the new infections were imported and the rest were connected to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
Besides, COVID-19 claimed 26 more lives, but 499 more patients have successfully been cured; bringing the total death and cured cases in the Kingdom to 2,610 and 110,154, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
