Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will virtually participate in the Second Meeting of the G7 Foreign Ministers and Development Ministers under the UK Presidency, on Dec. 12.
The participation will be made at the invitation of the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK), said a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued this afternoon.
Among the topics expected to be discussed at the meeting are vaccines and global health security, economic growth, technology and infrastructure, regional collaboration and regional development, including in ASEAN, it pointed out.
As the ASEAN Chair in 2022, the press release continued, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn will make his intervention on these topics and on Cambodia priorities in steering ASEAN Community building effort.
