Five hotels in Phnom Penh capital and the provinces of Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap have won the 8th ASEAN Green Hotel Standard Award for their services.
Rosewood Phnom Penh and Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh in Phnom Penh capital; Songsaa Private Island and Jin Bei Palace in Preah Sihanouk province; and Phum Baitang in Siem Reap province are the five awarded hotels.
The award conferment ceremony was held during the 40th ASEAN Tourism Forum in Preah Sihanouk province from Jan. 16 to 22, 2022.
The ASEAN Green Hotel Standard is an ASEAN initiative dedicated to promoting sustainable tourism practices around the ASEAN through the adoption of the Environmentally-friendly and Energy Conservation; compiling, adapting and creating the tools and training to engage in ASEAN Green Hotel practices.
