More Than 1,000 Visitors Enliven Srikandi Carnival 2024


Over 1,000 visitors attended the Srikandi Carnival 2024, organised by the Alumni Association of Sekolah Tun Fatimah Johor Bahru , also known as Srikandi Tun Fatimah, here today.

Srikandi Tun Fatimah president , Datin Zainon Sekor said that the main purpose of the inaugural event was to provide an opportunity for all members to engage in business and build networks in entrepreneurship.

‘With this carnival, we encourage members to do business and gain knowledge while having fun with various activities. It also helps to strengthen the bonds among members,’ she told Bernama after the programme’s launch by Srikandi Tun Fatimah’s royal advisor, Tunku Mariam Zaharah Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.

Tunku Mariam Zaharah also spent approximately two hours visiting the sales booths at the carnival.

Meanwhile, Dr Ezani Farhana Md Monoto, the owner of Pastribella Bakeshop and the winner of MasterChef Malaysia 2012, said the carnival provided her with more opportunities to introduce and promote her business to the public.

‘Previously, I was active in various activities within the association, but this is my first time participating in sales… this is also a sign of my support for Srikandi,’ said the former student of Sekolah Tun Fatimah Johor Bahru from 1998 to 2002.

The one-day carnival, from 9 am to 5 pm, was filled with various interesting activities, including exhibitions, a food and beverage sale, soopa doopa, horse riding, sand, art face painting and arcade games.
