H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and President of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), has extended his heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mr. Prof. Hoang Vinh Giang, Vice President of Vietnam Olympic Committee and Executive Member of Olympic Council of Asia.
“His death has come as a very big jolt to all of us. There is no word that can express how sorry we are to hear about his death, our thoughts and prayers are always with you,” he wrote in the condolence letter.
“On this mournful moment, I would like to extend, on behalf of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia and the Olympic Movement in the Kingdom of Cambodia, my sincere condolences to his grieving family for the loss of their loved one,” H.E. Thong Khon added.
Prof. Hoang Vinh Giang passed away on Sept. 11 at the age of 75.
