PM Hun Sen Extends Congratulations to 55th Anniversary of Cambodia-Viet Nam Diplomatic Relations

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has extended his congratulations to his Vietnamese counterpart, H.E. Pham Minh Chinh on the 55th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relations between the two countries.

On behalf of the Royal Government and the People of Cambodia, Samdech Techo Hun Sen conveyed his warmest congratulations and best wishes to H.E. Pham Minh Chinh and the friendly people of Viet Nam on this auspicious occasion of the 55th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam as well as the Cambodia-Viet Nam Friendship Year 2022.

“This is indeed and opportune juncture to invigorate the close friendship and strong cooperation between our two countries, bounded hundred years before the formal establishment of our diplomatic relations in 1967. I am delighted to observe that the excellent bonds of fraternal relations and close cooperation between our two countries have been constantly cherished and strengthened over the last decades under the spirit of good neighbourliness, solidarity, mutual trust and understanding as well as win-win cooperation,” he stated in his recent congratulatory message.

“Having gone through a long time of hardship in the cause of national liberation, unification, independence and development, I strongly believed that Cambodia and Viet Nam will continue to deepen our traditional bonds of friendship, long-lasting relations and comprehensive cooperation in many different areas at bilateral, regional and international fora in the coming years, which in turn contribute to the maintenance of peace, stability, and sustainable development of the ASEAN Community and the world at large,” underlined the Cambodian Premier.
