Sunhak Peace Prize, a Motivation to Continue Dedication to Peace, Says Cambodian PM

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, spoke highly of the Sunhak Peace Prize to be conferred upon him this week in recognition of his contributions to peace, stability and economic development in Cambodia and the region at large.
“It (2022 Sunhak Peace Prize) is both the honour and motivation for me to continue my commitment and dedication to peace and human development for not only the Cambodian people, but also the region and beyond,” stressed the Premier in a message dated Feb. 9 to Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, Founder of Universal Peace Federation on the occasion of her birthday.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also expressed his delight to work with Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon as co-hosts of the World Summit 2022, and firmly believed that Resolution from the World Summit 2022 and the Initiative on “Two States-One Nation” will provide a new momentum to realising the peace and reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula, which is the hope of the Korean people and the world at large.
Besides, Samdech Techo Prime Minister extended best wishes to Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon on her birthday and to her beloved husband, Rev. Sun Myung Moon, and commended her on her leadership, commitment, and contribution to the noble cause of humanity, particularly global peace and women empowerment.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen has been selected to receive the 2022 Founders Special Honorary Award of the Sunhak Peace Prize that is announced in the Special Press Conference of the Sunhak Peace Prize Committee held on Feb. 7, 2022 in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the 5th Sunhak Peace Prize Award will be officially presented to the Cambodian Premier in Seoul on Feb. 12 during the World Summit 2022 under the theme “Toward Peace on the Korean Peninsula”.
