Techcross Water & Energy Seeks Business Opportunity in Cambodia

A delegation of South Korea-based Techcross Water & Energy has recently paid a courtesy call on H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, to learn about business environment and seek investment opportunity in Cambodia.
During the meeting here late last week, the Korean delegation informed H.E. Minister of the company’s vision and interest to invest in Cambodia in the areas of clean water supply, wastewater treatment system, renewable energies and so on, as well as to contribute to turn Phnom Penh into a green city.
For his part, H.E. Pan Sorasak welcomed the business plan and encouraged the Korean company to work with local partners and relevant authorities for successful results.
H.E. Minister laid stress on Cambodia’s potential and efforts to improve business and investment environment through the adoption of laws and regulations including the law on competition, law on investment, law on public-private partnership, the conclusion of Cambodia-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA), Cambodia-Korea FTA and Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), etc..
According to H.E. Pan Sorasak, Cambodia’ economy is expected to grow at 5.6 percent this year and 6.6 percent in 2023, before reaching 7 percent in 2024.
